Korotun Evgenii Nikolaevich, born April 13, 1970, and lived in the city of Seversk, Tomsk Oblast.

Under Part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Organisation of the activities of a religious organisation, in respect of which a decision has been made to liquidate due to the implementation of extremist activities") in connection with membership in the community of Jehovah's Witnesses, banned in Russia, he was sentenced to 7 years in a general regime penal colony.

He was detained on July 14, 2020, placed under house arrest on July 15, 2020, and taken into custody on September 7, 2020 due to alleged pressure on witnesses.
