Ihor Kravets is a citizen of Ukraine and a serviceman of the Azov Special Purpose Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine. He was reportedly taken prisoner in Mariupol on 18 May 2022.
On 14 January 2026, Kravets's case was referred to the Central District Military Court. On 3 February 2026, Judge Andrei Slepukhin found him guilty under the article on participation in a terrorist community and sentenced him to a term of imprisonment that has not been disclosed. The verdict was not appealed.
