Kupriyansky Nikolai Viktorovich, born November 16, 1967, lives in Kursk.


On 2 December 2024, under Part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Organisation of the activities of an extremist organisation"), he was sentenced to 6 years in a general regime penal colony in connection with membership in the community of Jehovah's Witnesses, banned in Russia. 

He was detained on August 8, 2023, and has been under house arrest since August 10, 2023. On 2 December 2024, he was taken into custody.
