Kuzyanin Denis Yurievich, born September 25, 1984, resident of Samara.

On charges of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Organisation of the activities of an extremist organisation") in connection with his involvement in the Jehovah's Witnesses community, he was sentenced to 7 years in a general regime penal colony. On May 20, 2024, the appellate court upheld the sentence.

He was detained on December 15, 2021, and was in custody from December 16, 2021 to December 14, 2022, when he was released under a ban on certain actions. He was taken into custody again on January 25, 2024 after the verdict was announced.
