Accused of committing an offence under part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Organisation of activities of an extremist organisation") in connection with membership in the community of Jehovah's Witnesses banned in Russia.
He was under house arrest since September 2023, died during the investigation.
