Litviniuk Aleksandr Viktorovich, born November 3, 1960, lives in the Crimean city of Armyansk. He was sentenced to 6 years in a general regime penal colony on charges of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Organizing the activities of an extremist organisation") in connection with membership in a community of Jehovah's Witnesses, banned in Russia. The appellate court upheld the sentence.

He was arrested on August 5, 2021, and placed under house arrest on August 6, 2021. On September 8, 2022, the court changed the preventive measure to a ban on certain actions. He has been in custody since December 1, 2022.
