Magdiev Shamil, born in 1981, lives in the village of Tidib in the Shamilsky District of Dagestan. He was sent for compulsory psychiatric treatment on charges of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public dissemination of knowingly false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation"). The sentence was handed down on July 23, 2023. He was also sent for compulsory treatment under Article 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal possession of weapons").
