Maksutov Radmir Yusifovich, born March 31, 1984, home appliance repairman, lived in the Republic of Bashkortostan. Under Part 2 of Article 205.5 ("Participation in the activities of an organisation that is recognised as terrorist in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation") and Part 1 of Article 30, Article 278 ("Preparation for actions aimed at the violent seizure of power, as well as the violent change of the constitutional order") of the Russian Criminal Code, he was sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment in a strict regime penal colony with a fine of 400,000 rubles and restriction of freedom for a period of 1 year on charges of membership in the banned organisation "Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami", which, even according to the investigation, did not participate in violent actions.
