Maletskov Valery Vladimirovich, born September 13, 1974, lives in Novosibirsk.

On charges of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Organisation of the activities of an extremist organisation") in connection with membership in a community of Jehovah's Witnesses banned in Russia, he was sentenced to 6 years in a general regime penal colony.

He was under house arrest from April 19, 2019 to the end of October 2019, when he was released on his own recognisance. He was taken into custody on December 18, 2023.
