Mareev Roman Viktorovich, born June 11, 1978, resident of Moscow. On charges of committing a crime under Part 1.1 of Article 282.2 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Involvement in the activities of an extremist organisation") in connection with his involvement in the local community of Jehovah's Witnesses, he was sentenced to 4.5 years in a general regime penal colony.
Detained on October 20, 2021, in custody since October 22, 2021. On October 25, 2024, he was released, having fully served his sentence.
