Matiev Komil Karimovich. Born September 4, 1980 in Uzbekistan, lived in Kazan, citizen of the Russian Federation since 2007. Single, three children, unofficially worked as a builder, secondary specialised education.

In 2013, he was charged under Part 1 of Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses ("Disobedience to a lawful demand of a police officer"). Most likely, this is related to the events of January 16, 2013, in the Al-Ikhlas mosque, when parishioners refused to leave the mosque, which the city administration was returning to municipal ownership. Sentenced under Part 2 of Article 205.5 ("Participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation"), Part 2 of Article 205.2 ("Public calls for terrorist activity, public justification of terrorism or propaganda of terrorism using the Internet") of the Russian Criminal Code to 15 years in a strict regime penal colony.

In custody since March 14, 2017.
