Mulyukov Rustem Masgutovich, born October 26, 1977, lived in Ufa, lawyer, opposition activist.

Sentenced to 2 years and 6 months in a general regime penal colony under Part 2 of Article 282.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Participation in an extremist organisation") in connection with participation in an allegedly extremist organisation created by Alexei Navalny. He was under house arrest from March 15 to November 7, 2023. The appellate court upheld the sentence and ordered his detention. On March 4, 2024, the Sixth Cassation Court returned the case to the appeal. On April 9, 2024, the appellate court upheld the sentence. On November 12, 2024, he was released by the court due to health reasons.

Previously sentenced under Part 1 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Public calls for extremist activity”) to 2 years of suspended imprisonment for an emotional speech at a rally on June 12, 2017 with harsh statements against corrupt officials.
