Olopova Sona Andranikovna, born April 18, 1987, lives in the city of Tolyatti. On charges of committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Participation in the activities of an extremist organisation") in connection with membership in a community of Jehovah's Witnesses banned in Russia, she was sentenced to 2 years of compulsory work. On April 3, 2024, the Samara Regional Court upheld the sentence. In June 2025, the court granted the motion for parole. She was released on July 7, 2025.
