Oleh Pavlenko is a Ukrainian citizen and a serviceman of the Azov Special Operations Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine. He was captured in Mariupol on 17 May 2022.
On 3 October 2025, Oleh Pavlenko was added to the Russian Federal Financial Monitoring Service's list of extremists and terrorists.
On 21 October 2025, Pavlenko's case was transferred to the Southern District Military Court. On 18 February 2026, Judge Sakit Lachinov found Pavlenko guilty under Part 2 of Article 205.4 of the Russian Criminal Code ('Participation in a terrorist community') and sentenced him to 6 years' imprisonment.
