Perov Aleksandr Anatolievich

Perov Aleksandr Anatolievich was born on 9 December 1969, lived in St. Petersburg, worked as a driver for a construction firm.

On 31 July 2023 he was initially charged under part 2 of Article 167 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Intentional destruction or damage of property by arson", with a maximum of 5 years‘ imprisonment) for setting fire to the porch of a military recruitment office, as he claimed, at the behest of fraudsters. Later, the charge was reclassified to Article 205 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Terrorist act").

He was taken into custody on 31 July 2023, died on 10 June 2024 under unknown circumstances.
