Pogorov Akhmed Sarazhudinovich

Pogorov Akhmed Sarazhudinovich, born in 1963, co-chairman of the Ingush National Congress, former Minister of Internal Affairs of Ingushetia (2002-2003). Charged under Part 3 of Art. 33, Part 2 of Art. 318 ("organisation of violence against government officials that is dangerous to health"), Part 2 of Art. 282.1 ("Participation in an extremist organisation") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
He was wanted for almost 2 years, was detained in the Ingush city of Karabulak on February 26, 2021, transferred to house arrest on May 25, 2021, and sent back to pre-trial detention center the next day.
