Myasnikova Maria Aleksandrovna

Myasnikova (Portnyagina) Maria Aleksandrovna, born on January 10, 1994, lives in Blagoveshchensk.

On December 6, 2024, under Part 2 of Article 282.2 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Participation in the activities of an extremist organisation") in connection with membership in a community of Jehovah's Witnesses banned in Russia, she was sentenced to 2 years and 2 months of compulsory work in a correctional center.

On March 10, 2025, the sentence came into force. She was under a written undertaking not to leave. The criminal case was opened on July 22, 2021.
