Like Serozhenko, he was likely charged under Part 5 of Article 33, Part 1 of Article 361 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Aiding an act of international terrorism"), and Subparagraph "a" of Part 3 of Article 222.1 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Illegal storage, transportation, and carrying of an explosive device committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy").
