On February 26, 2025, he was sentenced under paragraph "d" of Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public dissemination of knowingly false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, committed for reasons of political hatred") to 5 years of imprisonment in a general regime colony.
