Sentenced by the Volga District Military Court to 16 years of strict regime imprisonment under Part 1 of Article 205.5 ("Organising activities of a terrorist organisation") and Part 1 of Article 205.1 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Financing of terrorist activities")  in connection with participation in the activities of Hizb ut-Tahrir, banned in Russia, and the collection of "membership fees" (from 200 to 1,000 rubles per month) from other members of this organisation.

In custody since May 19, 2015.
