Samsonov Yury Evgenievich, born April 18, 2002, is a resident of Glazov, Udmurt Republic. He is a Russian citizen and enjoyed drawing and architecture.

On December 5, 2024, he was sentenced under Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Public calls to commit terrorist activity, public justification, or propaganda of terrorism") to 6 years' imprisonment in a general regime penal colony. The Telegram channel ‘Udmurtia Against Corruption’ suggests that the basis for Yuri's criminal prosecution was likely his comment in support of the Russian Volunteer Corps. The young man also spoke out against the Russian invasion of Ukraine and condemned Putin's actions.

He has been imprisoned since February 1, 2024.
