Elena Sarkisyan is a resident of Pyatigorsk who moved to Novosibirsk shortly before her arrest and was a subscriber to the ANTI PYTKI Telegram channel. She was initially charged with recruiting for and participating in an extremist group. Later, charges of inciting hatred and hostility—involving three separate incidents—were added.
