Seitumerov Osman Shukrievich, born June 4, 1992. Resident of Bakhchisarai in Crimea. Activist of the Crimean Tatar movement "Crimean Solidarity". Citizen of Ukraine and the Russian Federation. Has higher education. Worked as a taxi driver.
On charges of membership in the banned organisation "Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami", which, even according to the investigation, did not participate in violent actions, was sentenced to 14 years in a strict regime penal colony with the first 3.5 years to be served in prison and to a restriction of freedom for 1 year upon release under Part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation") and Part 1 of Article 30 in conjunction with Article 278 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Preparation for the violent seizure of power").
In custody since March 11, 2020.
