Shatalov Sergei Grigorievich, born September 23, 1969, lives in Moscow. On charges of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Organisation of the activities of a religious organisation, in respect of which a decision has been made to liquidate due to the implementation of extremist activities) in connection with membership in the community of Jehovah's Witnesses, banned in Russia, he was sentenced to 6 years and 3 months of imprisonment in a general regime colony. He was detained on November 24, 2020, and was under house arrest since November 27, 2020. He was taken into custody on March 31, 2023.
