Shestun Aleksandr Vyacheslavovich
Shestun Aleksandr Vyacheslavovich, born October 26, 1964 in the city of Serpukhov, Moscow Oblast. He graduated from the Kostroma Technological Institute in 1990, PhD in Economics, at the time of his arrest he was the head of the Serpukhov Municipal District, was a member of the United Russia party. He was married until 2023, and is the father of five children.
By the verdict of the Podolsk City Court of the Moscow Oblast dated December 21, 2020, he was sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment in a strict regime penal colony with a fine of 49,595,620 roubles, with the deprivation of the right to hold positions in state bodies and local government bodies related to the exercise of organisational and administrative and economic powers for a period of 8 (eight) years under Part 6 of Art. 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Receiving a bribe in the form of money or other property by an official personally, for general patronage and connivance in office, committed by the head of a local government body, on an especially large scale"); Art. 289 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal participation in entrepreneurial activity, that is, participation in the management of an organisation engaged in entrepreneurial activity, personally and through an authorized person contrary to the prohibition established by law, if these acts are related to the provision of benefits and advantages to such an organisation or with patronage in another form"); Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Fraud, that is, the acquisition of the right to someone else's property through abuse of trust, committed by a person using his official position, by a group of persons by prior conspiracy, on an especially large scale"), subparagraph "b" of Part 4 of Art. 174.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Legalisation of property acquired by a person as a result of the commission of a crime by him, in order to give a legal appearance to the ownership, use and disposal of the said property, committed by a person, using his official position, by an organized group on an especially large scale").
Within the framework of this charge, the civil claim of the administration of the urban district of Serpukhov against Shestun in the amount of 64,590,000 roubles was satisfied.
On August 11, 2022, the Domodedovo City Court of the Moscow Oblast sentenced Shestun under Part 1 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Threat or violent actions in connection with the administration of justice"), Part 2 of Article 297 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Contempt of court"), Article 319 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Insulting a government official") to 7 months' imprisonment and a fine of 250,000 roubles, in combination with the previous sentence - to 15 years and 6 months' imprisonment in a strict regime penal colony.
On October 9, 2024, he was sentenced to 2 years of imprisonment. In combination with previous sentences - to 17 years of imprisonment in a strict regime penal colony under Article 321 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Disorganisation of the activities of institutions that ensure isolation from society").
In custody since June 13, 2018.
