Shogentsukov Zaur Mikhailovich, born December 13, 1966, was a resident of Kabardino-Balkaria. He was detained in Ukraine after illegally crossing the border to join the Freedom of Russia Legion. He was held in a migration prison before being extradited to Russia sometime after November 27, 2025. He likely became the victim of politically motivated prosecution and died in custody. His body was released to his relatives on December 19, 2025.
