Sidorkin Roman Anatolyevich, born February 1, 1973, resided in the Kursk region. He is the ex-husband of Tatyana Sidorkina. In July 2023, the Kursk Regional Court sentenced him to 17 years' imprisonment, with the first three years to be served in prison and the remainder in a maximum-security penal colony, 1 year and 6 months of restricted freedom, and a fine of 450,000 rubles under Article 275 of the Russian Criminal Code ("High Treason"); Part 1 of Article 30, Part 2 of Article 281 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Preparing an act of sabotage at an infrastructure facility"), and Part 1 of Article 222 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Illegal possession of firearms and ammunition"). In October 2024, the Supreme Court of Russia upheld the sentence. The case was heard behind closed doors, and the details of the charges were not disclosed. According to the prosecution, Tatyana and Roman Sidorkina allegedly planned to blow up an infrastructure facility with the aim of undermining Russia's economic security and defense capability. He died in a prison hospital in Saratov on January 9, 2026.
