Svarichevsky Adam Mikhailovich, born September 20, 1963, lives in Blagoveshchensk.

On charges of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Organisation of the activities of an extremist organisation") in connection with membership in a community of Jehovah's Witnesses banned in Russia, he was sentenced to 6 years and 3 months in a general regime penal colony. The appellate court upheld the sentence.

Since September 24, 2020, he has been under a personal recognisance (a written undertaking not to leave). On December 21, 2022, he was arrested in the courtroom after the verdict was announced.
