On March 14, 2025, under paragraph "d" of Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Public dissemination of knowingly false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation motivated by political hatred towards a social group"), he was sentenced to 5 years of compulsory work in a correctional center.

He is in custody.
