Tyurin Roman Vladimirovich, born February 25, 1969, resident of the village of Olgino, Poltavsky District, Omsk Region. On May 27, 2024, he was sentenced under paragraph "d" of Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public dissemination of knowingly false information about the use of the RF Armed Forces motivated by political and national hatred") to 6 years of imprisonment in a general regime penal colony. Additionaly charged under Part 1 of Article 280.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
On October 3, 2024, under Part 1 of Article 280.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public actions aimed at discrediting the use of the RF Armed Forces, committed by a person after he was brought to administrative responsibility for a similar act within one year", liable to up to 5 years of imprisonment), he was sentenced to 1 year of imprisonment; after adding up the sentences, the term of imprisonment was 6 years and 3 months in a general regime colony. He is also charged under paragraph "c" of Part 2 of Article 280.4 ("Public calls for the implementation of activities directed against the security of the Russian Federation using the Internet", up to 6 years of imprisonment) and Part 1 of Article 282.4 ("Repeated demonstration of extremist symbols", up to 4 years of imprisonment) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation as part of the fourth criminal case.
He was deprived of liberty presumably from early August 2023.
On 17 February 2025, he died in custody. This became known only in January 2026.
