Vegan Christolyub Bozhiy (formerly Dmitry Evgenievich Kuznetsov) was born on January 3, 1983, a citizen of Russia, a resident of the village of Korshevo, Bobrovsky District, Voronezh Region, higher education, Christian, video blogger. On February 5, 2025, he was sentenced under paragraph "c" of Part 2 of Article 354.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Dissemination of knowingly false information about the activities of the USSR during World War II, about veterans of the Great Patriotic War, committed publicly on the Internet"), Part 4 of Article 354.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Insulting the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland, humiliation of the honor and dignity of a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, committed publicly on the Internet") and two episodes of Part 1 of Article 148 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Public actions expressing obvious disrespect for society and committed with the intent to insult the religious feelings of believers") to 3 years in a penal colony with mandatory medical supervision and treatment by a psychiatrist on an outpatient basis.
He was imprisoned from January 26 to February 28, 2023, and then placed under travel restrictions until the sentence came into effect on June 20, 2025. He was again imprisoned on October 13, 2025. He died in custody on April 17, 2026.
