Vinatier Laurent Claude Jean-Louis, born July 23, 1976, French citizen, political scientist, PhD in philosophy, advisor on Russia and Eurasia at the Swiss NGO "Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue". Married, has two minor children.
On October 14, 2024, he was sentenced under Part 3 of Article 330.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Failure to fulfil obligations to include in the register of foreign agents by a person collecting information in the field of military activities of the Russian Federation that can be used against the security of the Russian Federation") to 3 years in a general regime colony.
Deprived of liberty since June 6, 2024. Released on January 8, 2026, as part of a prisoner exchange with France.
