Yakimova Natalia Alekseevna
Natalia Yakimova, originally from Nikolske, Ukraine, moved to Russia with her son in 2014 and acquired Russian citizenship in 2021. She lived in Korolyov and supported her husband, who has a disability.
Because of two reposts of publications from the Telegram channels of Aleksandr Nevzorov and Soloviny Pomyot ('Nightingale Droppings'), which discussed war crimes committed by Russian forces in Bucha, Ukraine, she was charged with disseminating 'false information' about the Russian armed forces motivated by hatred. The court sentenced her to 5 years' imprisonment in a general-regime penal colony.
She has been deprived of her liberty in connection with the criminal case since 20 June 2025.
