Yakovlev Danila Vladimirovich

Yakovlev Danila Vladimirovich, born on September 28, 2004, is a Russian citizen and a resident of Biysk (Altai Krai). On September 20, 2024, he was convicted under Article 275 (“High treason”); Part 1.1 of Article 205.1 (“Assisting terrorist activities in the form of financing terrorism”); and two counts under Part 3 of Article 30 and Part 1.1 of Article 205.1 (“Attempted assistance to terrorist activities in the form of financing terrorism”) of the Russian Criminal Code. He was sentenced to 15 years in a high-security penal colony.

On January 21, 2025, an appellate court reduced his sentence by two months, and Yakovlev was ultimately sentenced to 14 years and 10 months in a high-security penal colony, with the first 3 years to be served in prison, and fined 100,000 rubles. He has been deprived of liberty since no later than January 17, 2024.
