Yanikov Asan Alievich, born September 11, 1986, resident of Simferopol, activist, engaged in sending parcels with humanitarian help for political prisoners.

Under Part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation"), Part 1 of Article 30 and Article 278 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Preparation for the violent seizure of power"), he was sentenced to 15 years in a strict regime penal colony, of which 5 years in prison, and 1 year of restricted freedom after his release from the colony.

On July 7, 2023, the appellate court upheld the sentence. In custody since March 27, 2019.
