Yuferov Sergei Vitalievich, born July 14, 1975, lives in the city of Tynda, Amur Oblast, electrical technician.

On charges of committing a crime under Part 1 and Part 1.1 of Article 282.2 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Organisation and involvement in the activities of an extremist organisation") in connection with membership in a community of Jehovah's Witnesses banned in Russia, he was sentenced to 6 years and 6 months in a general regime penal colony. The appellate court overturned the guilty verdict, sending the case for a new trial.

He was under a recognizance not to leave since November 17, 2019, in custody from October 25 to December 27, 2022, when he was again released on a recognizance not to leave. On June 23, 2023, he was sentenced to 6 years and 4 months in a general regime penal colony, taken into custody in the courtroom. On September 4, 2023, the appellate court upheld the verdict.
