On October 22, 2024, he was sentenced under paragraph "a" of Part 2 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Actions aimed at inciting hatred or enmity, as well as humiliating the dignity of a group of persons on the basis of gender, nationality, committed using the Internet with the threat of violence") to 1 year and 8 months in a general regime penal colony.
