Zdorenko Andrii Vasylovych

Zdorenko Andrii Vasylovych, born on December 16, 1985, a citizen of Ukraine, served in the 55th separate artillery brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine "Zaporizhian Sich" (military unit A1978) as a driver. Together with 5 other Ukrainian prisoners of war, he was accused under subparagraphs "a", "e", "g", "l" of Part 2 of Article 105 ("Murder of two or more persons, committed in a generally dangerous manner, by an organized group, motivated by hatred"), Part 3 of Article 30, subparagraphs "a", "v", "e", "g", "l" of Part 2 of Article 105 ("Attempted murder of two or more persons, including children, committed in a generally dangerous manner, by an organized group, motivated by hatred"), Part 1 of Article 361 ("Use of prohibited methods of warfare") and Part 2 of Article 167 ("Destruction of another's property by a generally dangerous method") of the Russian Criminal Code. According to the prosecution, the defendants allegedly fired from a combat position in Mariupol at the villages of Stary Krym, Volodarskoye, and the village of Berdyanskoye, resulting in the death of two civilians and the wounding of two others. We do not have access to the case materials. He was taken prisoner on May 21, 2022, in Mariupol and died during his trial no later than September 3, 2025.
