Zhukov Evgeny Sergeevich, born November 19, 1969, lived in Sevastopol, builder and decorator. Sentenced to 6 years in a general regime penal colony on charges of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Organizing the activities of an extremist organisation") in connection with membership in a community of Jehovah's Witnesses, banned in Russia. The appellate court upheld the sentence.

He was in custody from October 1, 2020 to May 17, 2021, when he was transferred to house arrest. On January 10, 2022, the preventive measure was changed to a ban on certain actions. He was taken into custody again on October 6, 2022.
