Zinich Evgeny Nikolaevich, born April 17, 1966, lives in Krasnoyarsk, entrepreneur, descendant of Jehovah's Witnesses - victims of Stalin's repressions. Sentenced to 6 years in a general regime penal colony with restriction of freedom for 1 year under Part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Organisation of the activities of a religious organisation, in respect of which a decision has been made to liquidate in connection with the implementation of extremist activities") in connection with membership in the community of Jehovah's Witnesses banned in Russia.
Has been in custody since June 27, 2022.
