On May 9, Dmitry Ermakov, an operator at an oil company in Perm, was remanded in custody in a case concerning financial assistance to the Ukrainian army, RBC reports.

The Perm Regional Court upheld the decision. RBC found out that Ermakov is charged with treason (Article 275 of the Russian Criminal Code) over a transfer of 3,000 rubles to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. His lawyer said that Ermakov had pleaded guilty and “given self-incriminating testimony.”
