Mikhail Antonovich has been accused of financing terrorism for allegedly purchasing Telegram 'Stars' worth approximately $3 and subsequently assigning them to several posts on various informational and personal Telegram channels. Investigators determined that, because these channels had elsewhere called for donations to Ukrainian army units designated as terrorist organizations, assigning 'Stars' to any post within those channels constituted a transfer of funds for the purpose of terrorism. He is currently in pre-trial detention and faces a potential sentence of up to life imprisonment.
