Ivan Dudiiev — a Ukrainian citizen and serviceman of the Azov Special Operations Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, a junior sergeant. He was captured in Donetsk Oblast, presumably on May 13, 2022.

No later than September 18, 2026, the Southern District Military Court found him guilty under Part 2 of Article 205.4 of the Russian Criminal Code (“Participation in the activities of a terrorist community”) and Article 205.3 of the Russian Criminal Code (“Undergoing training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities”) and sentenced him to 20 years in a maximum-security penal colony.

According to the prosecution, Dudiiev “voluntarily joined the separate special-purpose unit ‘Azov’ in May 2019... There, he underwent training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities, after which he was provided with firearms, ammunition and military uniform. Until May 2022, Dudiiev participated in combat operations against servicemen of the DPR and Russia, and also ensured the implementation of tasks and achievement of the common criminal goals by members of ‘Azov’.”
