Khabarovsk resident Yegor Geraimovich was detained for comments on Telegram channels, initially accused of justifying terrorism due to his emotional comments in support of Ukraine. After he complained that money was being debited from his phone seized by security forces, charges of military "fakes" and distributing pornography were added to the case due to him forwarding videos to friends. The fake news charges stemmed from his online statements about military operations and the crash of the Il-76 aircraft. The court sentenced Geraimovich to seven years in prison.
