Gniteev Aleksandr Petrovich
Aleksandr Gniteev is a resident of Yekaterinburg and a former employee of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise NPO Avtomatiki named after Academician Semikhatov.
In 2012, he was sentenced to eight years' imprisonment under the article on high treason. According to the prosecution, he had passed classified information concerning the control system of the Bulava submarine-launched ballistic missile to a foreign intelligence service. He was released in 2018 after completing his sentence.
Reportedly, in May 2026, Gniteyev was remanded in custody on charges of financing extremist activity for making donations to Aleksei Navalny’s Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK).
