Aigiz Ishmurzin was born on 5 February 2001. He is a Russian citizen and a resident of Ufa. He is a singer who performs songs in Russian and Bashkir.
On 24 December 2024, he was convicted under Part 2 of Article 212 of the Russian Criminal Code ('Participation in mass riots accompanied by violence, the use of objects posing a danger to others, or armed resistance to a government official') and Part 1 of Article 318 ('Use of violence not dangerous to life or health against a government official or their relatives in connection with the performance of their official duties') and sentenced to 8 years and 6 months' imprisonment in a general-regime penal colony. On 6 May 2025, the appellate court reduced his sentence to 5 years' imprisonment in a general-regime penal colony.
On 24 April 2026, the court replaced Ishmurzin's unserved prison sentence with compulsory labour at a correctional centre for 2 years, 2 months and 12 days.
He had been deprived of his liberty since 15 February 2024.
