Grigoriy Istomin from the Nizhneserginsky District of the Sverdlovsk Region was detained in January or February 2023. He was accused of being an opponent of the war in Ukraine and, together with Ivan Simonov, setting fire to relay cabinets for money and planning further arsons. Istomin was sentenced to 23 years for committing a terrorist attack by a group of persons and attempting to commit such an attack.
