Yekaterina Knyazeva is a VSTU graduate and a young architect from Voronezh. In December 2025, a criminal case was opened against her for two comments on Telegram left in the fall of 2022. Investigators found justification and calls for terrorism in these posts. Knyazeva's testimony was read at the trial, in which she described her sister and aunt living in Ukraine, for whom she was deeply worried. Knyazeva admitted her guilt and asked for a non-custodial sentence. The trial took place in a single hearing, during which she cried almost the entire time. She was sentenced to two years of imprisonment.
