Kokorev Vyacheslav Maksimovich
Vyacheslav Kokorev is a graduate of the Pacific National University and worked as a systems administrator for the Hydrometeorology Department in Khabarovsk. FSB surveillance of him began after his vacation abroad in 2023, when Kokorev was still a student, and continued for two years, with security officials reading his correspondence. Vyacheslav feared conscription and was looking for opportunities to continue his studies in Europe. This is how his correspondence with an unknown woman, "Albinka," began. Vyacheslav sent his interlocutor a fragment of a map and a brief description of the Khabarovsk Border Institute of the Russian FSB. According to the prosecution, the student communicated with an intelligence officer from Ukraine, and information about the educational institution could be used against Russian security. The court found Kokorev guilty of treason and sentenced him to 14 years of imprisonment.
