Svetlana Kudryashova is a Moscow resident and journalist. She has a minor daughter and an elderly mother with a disability. In the 2010s, Kudryashova had a romantic relationship with a fighter in the Ukrainian Azov Battalion, who tattooed her with the unit's symbols and the slogan "Glory to Ukraine." Since 2022, she has faced two administrative charges for the Azov tattoo and two criminal charges for displaying Nazi symbols. In the first case, in December 2024, she received a seven-month prison sentence and was immediately released, having already served that sentence while in custody. However, in April 2025, just two weeks after the sentence came into force, Kudryashova was sent to pretrial detention on a new charge under the same article. In the second case, she was sentenced to two years and five months in prison. The woman was under house arrest from August 2023 to April 2024, in custody from June to September 2024 and then from April 2025.
